9/11 WTC7 - Geraldo Rivera Covers BuildingWhat?

Fox News 11/13/10
Geraldo Rivera says "I am certainly much more open minded about it then i was."

Bob McIlvaine and Tony Szamboti appear on Geraldo to discuss the BuildingWhat? campaign for a new investigation into the destruction of Building 7.

BuildingWhat? - http://buildingwhat.org/
Building 7 was a 47-story skyscraper that was part of the World Trade Center complex. It would have been the tallest high-rise in 33 states. It collapsed at 5:20pm on September 11, 2001. It was not hit by an airplane and suffered minimal damage compared to other buildings much closer to the Twin Towers.

  1. I haven't read (red) the whole report and maybe you can enlighten me! What page does it say that "only office fires" brought down WTC 7? Also, what page does it say that "it wasn't falling debris from WTC 1 & 2" that caused damage to WTC 7? Have you viewed any pictures of the actual damage that was withstood to WTC 7 before it collapsed?? Have you ever been to ground zero?

  2. Well look who it is, the troll I banned from youtube. :) Normally I know better to engage with people like you however calling you out on your BS might inform others that happen to read this.

    Implying NIST's conclusions are not what they are because you can't be provided an exact three word quote is a strawman arguement, and no offense but kinda retarded.

    See normal people with normal brains understand NIST's conclusion when they read the final report. However since you are having so much trouble reading and understanding the whole report maybe just stick with the simple short summary provided on their website. :)

    NIST "The extensive three-year scientific and technical building and fire safety investigation found that the fires on multiple floors in WTC 7, which were uncontrolled but otherwise similar to fires experienced in other tall buildings, caused an extraordinary event. Heating of floor beams and girders caused a critical support column to fail, initiating a fire-induced progressive collapse that brought the building down."

    If you are still confused NIST even provided a source for slower people such as yourself where you can just watch and listen. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8AYPvwJk0q0

    Yet you still don't seem to understand what Sunder means when he clearly say's "WTC7 collapsed because of fires fueled by office furnishings."
    I refuse to believe you are this dumb.

    Furthermore like a true strawman you purposely misrepresent my position by claiming I say WTC7 did not recieve any damage from falling debris.

    Everyone knows there was minimal damage to the southwest corner, but if it was significant enough the building would have collapse in that direction. Even NIST minimizes the damage by saying;
    Taken from NIST WTC7 Q & A: "falling debris damaged the southwest corner of the building severing seven exterior columns, but this structural damage did not initiate the collapse. The fires initiated by the debris, rather than the structural damage that resulted from the impacts, initiated the building’s collapse. Even without the structural damage, WTC 7 would have collapsed from the fires that the debris initiated."

    NIST is claiming that a 47 story steel framed skyscraper collapsed symmetrically through the path of greatest resistance at free-fall acceleration due to normal office fires.

    And even though it defies logic, physics and common sense, you believe it. So good luck with life and have a nice day. :)
